Job summary

Family Dollar in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a dedicated store team member to support day-to-day operations, assist customers, and help maintain a well-organized and inviting storefront.

You will work with store leadership to supervise associates, handle stocking, merchandising, opening and closing duties, and ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance with company policies. This role emphasizes teamwork, customer service excellence, and efficient loss prevention practices.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical store duties.
• Retail store management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily store functions and activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner.
• Organize and stock merchandise; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Follow corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain fixtures, displays and promotional material.
• Assist in ordering, processing damaged goods, records and loss prevention.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked store and organized stockroom.
• Protect company assets and ensure security.
• Train and supervise Store Associates.
• Ensure safe, respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.
