Job summary

Hibbett Retail, Inc. is seeking a Manager in Training in a fast-paced retail environment. You will assist the Store Manager with daily operations, merchandising, and achieving store goals while promoting promotions and providing exceptional customer service.

The role involves acting as store supervisor in the Store Manager’s absence, training team members, and ensuring consistent adherence to company policies and procedures across departments.

Qualifications

• Retail environment experience in footwear/apparel.
• 1–3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-starter with initiative to take on tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking.
• Team-player with passion for customer service and selling merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering and scheduling.
• Assumes store responsibilities in the Store Manager's absence.
• Provide knowledge and guidance to employees and customers across departments.
• Monitor inventory, sales statistics, and expenses to help profitability.
• Direct staff to ensure department responsibilities and standards are met.
• Ensure excellent customer service and promote store promotions and services.
• Uphold company policies, procedures and visual standards as directed.
