Job summary

Circle K Stores Inc. is seeking a Regional Manager within Southeast BU, Region 03, Market 06, at the Lexington, SC area. The role oversees staff, store operations, inventory and customer service, with emphasis on leadership, scheduling and compliance.

The position leads site teams, manages relationships with suppliers, analyzes sales, and ensures profit margins while maintaining Circle K standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Retail sales experience preferred.
• Experience to perform the essential duties described.
• Ability to supervise and train for equipment and materials listed in CSR/ASM descriptions.
• Ability to supervise and manage functions listed in CSR/ASM descriptions.
• Ability to use a computer for reports, inventory control, cash control, counseling notices, etc.
• Valid driver’s license and transportation to meetings.
• Ability to communicate (orally and in writing) in English.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire and train staff to ensure excellent customer service.
• Develop, manage and assign tasks to keep the site clean, stocked and well kept.
• Maintain a professional image among staff and supervisor.
• Schedule employees to maximize customer service.
• Apply non-discriminatory management practices while hiring and training.
• Develop positive relationships with suppliers.
• Promote and resolve customer complaints professionally.
• Promote a safe, positive public image in the community.
• Prepare on-going performance appraisals with feedback.
• Train staff to meet company standards in service, image and marketing.
• Train staff on safety procedures and promote safety awareness.
• Develop clear internal communication channels.
• Hold regular meetings with staff and Market Manager.
• Evaluate action plans to meet site objectives and organize files.
• Analyze daily sales and expenses to maximize profit.
• Budget and forecast P&L and manage margins.
• Safeguard and account for all money received and disbursed.
• Perform other financial analysis to maximize sales.
• Work indoors with occasional outdoor site duties.
• Be prepared for cold environments in walk-in cooler/freezer as needed.
