Job summary

Circle K is seeking a Store Manager for the Coastal Carolina BU region, based in Morrisville, NC. The role demands strong leadership to recruit, train, and manage a team, ensure excellent customer service, and maintain store standards.

You will oversee scheduling, merchandising, and daily financial controls while upholding company policies and safety practices. The position requires ability to use computers for reporting, inventory and cash control, plus English communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in retail sales preferred.
• Ability to supervise and train for the use of equipment, tools and materials listed in the CSR and ASM job descriptions.
• Ability to supervise and manage the functions listed in the CSR and ASM job descriptions.
• Ability to use computer and analyze reports, inventory control, cash control, counseling notices, etc.
• A valid driver's license and transportation to/from bank and meetings.
• Ability to communicate (orally and in writing) in English.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire and train employees to ensure excellent customer service.
• Develop, manage and assign tasks to keep the site clean, stocked, organized and well-kept per Company standards.
• Maintain a professional and supportive image among staff and supervisors.
• Schedule employees within Company guidelines to maximize service and maintain site image.
• Practice non-discriminatory management in hiring, training, counseling, motivating and separations.
• Develop positive relationships with suppliers and resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally.
• Promote a safe, positive public image within the community.
• Prepare performance appraisals in writing and provide constructive feedback.
• Train employees to ensure customer service, site image and marketing execution meet standards.
• Educate staff on safety procedures and promote safety awareness.
• Ensure timely and effective internal communications with all site employees and Market Manager.
• Organize and maintain site files and manuals.
• Supervise staff to complete all reports and keep merchandise properly stocked and priced.
• Ensure employment posters and signs are accessible.
