CITITRENDS is a leading off-price retailer of apparel, accessories, and home trends. The Assistant Store Manager role focuses on supporting daily operations, team leadership, and staffing, partnering with the Store Manager to drive performance and maintain standards.

You will help with hiring, onboarding, coaching, and training, while ensuring a safe, customer-focused environment. The position requires flexibility to work nights and weekends in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in a retail leadership role or Assistant Manager position.
• Strong communication, organizational, and people leadership skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Proficient in basic math calculations (percentages) and inventory practices.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations to meet sales goals and customer experience standards.
• Monitor sales activity and guide associates to deliver excellent service.
• Assist with inventory control, transactions, and shrink prevention.
• Supervise associates in sales, cash handling, and customer service; support hiring and onboarding.
