Citi Trends is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Hampton, VA to support daily store operations, lead the team, and drive sales performance while maintaining exceptional customer experiences. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-4 years of experience as an Assistant Manager or similar retail leadership role.
• 3-5 years of overall retail experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and people leadership skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations, including percentages.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations to meet sales goals and customer experience standards.
• Monitor sales activity and guide associates to deliver excellent service.
• Assist with inventory control, transactions, and shrink prevention.
• Supervise and support store associates in sales, inventory, cash handling, and customer service.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training of associates.
• Help maintain staffing levels by supporting recruiting efforts and retention.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and customer-focused store environment and ensure compliance with policies.
• Execute merchandising, operational, and visual standards.
• Perform additional duties to support store operations.
