Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona in Chandler is seeking a Retail Store Manager to lead the daily operations of the sales floor at our Chandler location. You will manage team members, ensure exceptional donor and customer service, and drive store performance to meet budgeted goals.

This role requires one year of retail management and customer service experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and ability to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• One-year work experience in Retail Management required.
• One-year customer service experience required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the sales floor to achieve daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals.
• Monitor product levels and inventory to meet sales targets and budget.
• Manage payroll and operating costs within budget.
• Ensure excellent customer service to donors and customers.
• De-escalate customer issues and resolve them effectively.
• Maintain a clean, well‑kept store reflecting the Goodwill brand.
• Partner with community organizations to promote Goodwill's mission.
• Serve as a Goodwill ambassador and lead training and development of team members.
• Act as key holder for the store and closing shift manager; support the Store Manager as needed.
• Process complex sales transactions, including returns, per company standards.
• Travel to other GCNA locations as required and support across stores.
• Collaborate with Asset Protection, HR, Safety, Finance for goals and compliance.
• Build a high-performing team and drive performance management.
