Job summary

Goodwill Industries of New Mexico is seeking a Retail Lead to assist customers and support our mission of providing skills training, job placement, and social services to New Mexicans.

Day-to-day duties include customer service, training employees, cash handling, and maintaining store operations. The role requires good English communication, reliability, and the ability to work extended hours. $14.75/hour, guaranteed 38 hours a week.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Two years of retail experience or equivalent preferred.
• Pass background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to attendance and punctuality policies.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve inquiries.
• Close store, reconcile cash with daily sales reports, and secure premises.
• Supervise sales floor, processing area and donation center.
• Train, supervise and mentor retail associates in procedures.
• Open store and prepare for business in manager's absence.
• Maintain records of store operations and cash deposits.
