Lamps Plus, Inc. in Northern Kentucky seeks an experienced Retail Store Manager to lead daily operations, drive sales, and ensure outstanding customer service. The role focuses on mentorship, scheduling, merchandising, and policy enforcement in a fast-paced environment.

You will coach staff, ensure showroom standards, handle reports, and coordinate with management on exceptions while maintaining a safe, welcoming retail experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of prior retail management experience.
• Prior retail Store Manager experience is preferred.
• Interior design education or related home furnishings experience a plus.
• High school graduate; College preferred.
• Computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Promotes quality customer service, meets customer needs, investigates and resolves problems involving customer complaints or dissatisfaction.
• Answers customer questions, demonstrates products, and offers design and usage suggestions.
• Remains current on product knowledge, design, and new merchandise.
• Maintains awareness of customer needs based on geographic location and market pricing.
• Confers with the Store Manager regarding irregular situations requiring senior approval.
• Attends store meetings and reads management memos as necessary.
• Ensures professional showroom appearance and prepares administrative reports.
• Assists in interviewing and selecting staff, directs subordinates, and motivates team to meet sales goals.
• Promotes safe work environment and enforces company policies.
• Develops understanding of all store functions including EEM/DOM proficiency.
• Performs other duties as assigned by manager.
