Job summary

Dollar General is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Wisconsin to help run daily store operations with a customer-first focus. You will assist the Store Manager with supervision, merchandising, deposits, and paperwork while performing stocking, cashiering, and other duties to maximize profits and minimize losses.

This role requires strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills; prior supervisory experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Retail experience preferred with supervisory exposure.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage inventories and cash handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership and operate cashier functions.
• Open/close the store at least two days per week.
• Assist with scheduling, training, and safety meetings.
• Manage merchandise handling, stocking, and displays.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and protect assets.
• Support store operations in the Store Manager's absence.
