Dollar General in Manawa, WI is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run a clean, customer-first store under the Store Manager’s direction. You will supervise staff, handle merchandising, deposits, and inventory, while driving profitability and loss prevention.

This role involves cash handling, scheduling, training, safety meetings, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Open/close shifts and maintain planograms.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment and six months supervisory experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet customers and operate the cash register.
• Open and close the store a minimum of two days per week.
• Assist Store Manager with scheduling, training, safety meetings, and policy compliance.
• Manage merchandise by receiving, stocking, rotating, and building displays.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and assist with planograms.
• Ensure cashier accountability, deposits, refunds, and store security.
• Assist with store operations in the Store Manager's absence.
