Job summary

WHBM in Nanuet, NY is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in leading the team and delivering a seamless customer experience. You will help foster a welcoming environment that reflects our hospitality-focused culture.

Responsibilities include team development, achieving store financial goals, hiring support, product knowledge sharing, maintaining visual standards, and safe, efficient store operations including inventory and replenishment.

Qualifications

• 3 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Flexible availability — including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products as well as maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom, operate the register, and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and develop a team to deliver a customer-centered experience.
• Take ownership to achieve the store's financial goals and motivate the team.
• Assist in the hiring, development, and coaching of associates.
• Lead by example on the sales floor with product knowledge and omni-channel approach.
