Job summary

Cash America Pawn is seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to help lead the team and drive performance. You will coach staff, support daily operations, and foster strong customer relationships across a diverse range of merchandise.

The role partners with the Store Manager to develop talent, improve service, and maximize profitability while ensuring compliance with store policies and procedures. Competitive pay includes commission and bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old with a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Leadership or supervisory/management experience preferred.
• Comfortable working with firearms in FFL locations; certification provided.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Bilingual applicants encouraged to apply.
• Strong customer service and team development skills.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations and act as Manager on Duty when needed.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve customer concerns.
• Coach, train, and develop team members to meet company standards.
• Assist with recruiting, hiring, and retaining top talent.
• Help drive store sales, profitability, and performance goals.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and support asset protection initiatives.
• Open and close the store, including cash handling and procedures.
• Monitor loan and buying transactions for compliance and accuracy.
• Maintain attractive merchandising and store presentation standards.
• Analyze performance metrics and support business objectives.
