Job summary

Victra is looking for a motivated Assistant General Manager to lead a retail sales team and create outstanding customer experiences in a Verizon store. You will coach, train, and motivate staff to hit daily and monthly sales targets while maintaining store operations and merchandising standards.

You will partner with the General Manager, take ownership of team performance, and drive results through hands-on leadership and strong customer focus.

Qualifications

• Background in customer service within the retail, restaurant, or wireless industry preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in a Customer Service or leadership role.
• Management experience in a commissions-based sales environment.
• Proven track record of achieving challenging team and individual sales goals.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities in a multifaceted environment.
• Experience in interviewing and staffing knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Take part in interviewing and hiring decisions for your store.
• Provide training and mentoring to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
• Develop plans to close gaps in selling skills and meet quotas.
• Own your store's sales performance and lead by example on the floor.
• Lead daily operations and support the General Manager when needed.
• Open and close store activities and ensure readiness and compliance.
