Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Store Lead in Charlotte, MI to lead and develop store teams through coaching and feedback, while ensuring excellent customer service and operating standards.

The role drives store performance by managing budgets, forecasts, and expense controls, while mentoring associates, enforcing policy, and promoting a culture of belonging and integrity. It involves coordinating with stakeholders to meet customer needs and achieve growth targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include 2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.
• For facilities selling firearms, CBC and training may be required.
• Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership and experience supervising 5+ direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop teams by teaching and coaching associates.
• Model and demonstrate customer service standards per Walmart One Best Way (OBW).
• Drive store financial performance through budgeting, forecasting and cost control.
• Ensure compliance with policies and support Open Door Policy.
• Recruit, hire, train, and mentor associates to meet staffing needs.
• Create a culture of belonging and inclusivity.
