Job summary

Wolverine Worldwide is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in daily operations, drive sales, and lead a cohesive team to deliver memorable customer experiences. You will oversee stock, merchandising, cash-handling, and store presentation while promoting brand values.

The role requires flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays, with a focus on teamwork, inclusion, and achieving store targets in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• Leadership or supervisory experience is preferred, but not essential.
• Flexible schedule and availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Passion for our brands and brand lifestyles.
• Self-starter and ambitious – you are motivated to achieve and exceed store targets for your team and your store.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks at once.

Responsibilities

• Be a role model - motivate and engage your team to bring to life the brand values every day, promoting an inclusive and positive working atmosphere.
• Deliver outstanding service to all customers, demonstrating role model behaviours for the team.
• Assist in driving sales, commerciality and maintenance of standards, including compliance with policies and procedures.
• Communicate efficiently on the floor and behind the scenes; maintain relationships across the business and with community partners.
• Partner with the Store Manager to generate innovative and engaging marketing ideas.
• Take ownership over stock management and executing visual merchandising guidelines to deliver store KPIs.
• Educate your team as the product expert and knowledgeable trainer.
