Job summary

Lids is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Glendale, AZ to lead daily store operations, drive sales, and mentor a team of associates. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, managing staffing, and upholding brand standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will implement merchandising plans, handle cash, support inventory counts, and partner with Store Manager to achieve KPIs while creating an inclusive, energetic store culture.

Qualifications

• Established ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear professional manner.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues, customer complaints when Store Manager is not present.
• Lead store associates through training programs and goal setting for sales and tasks, with regular follow-up.
• Administer the progressive steps of discipline to include verbal and written warnings in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Engage team members by creating a fun and productive environment, including helping them understand how their work supports company objectives and the success of the store and Lids overall.
• Lead, execute, and assist Lids selling strategy to achieve KPIs, sales targets, and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Maintain store technology and equipment – MPOS, Lids Custom, etc. – by conducting daily audits and facilitating updates and maintenance as instructed.
