Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Lane & South Coast Counties & Alaska is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Oregon to support the Store Manager with donations processing, sales, and personnel management. You will help drive production goals, ensure safe, clean store operations, and deliver high-quality customer service to shoppers and donors.

The role requires at least three years of managerial retail experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid Oregon driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum three years’ managerial retail experience.
• Must pass Oregon DHS background check and pre-employment drug screen.
• Must have valid Oregon driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee processing of donations, merchandise handling, and pricing.
• Maximize sales through proper rotation, display, and signage.
• Hire, train, and supervise store personnel; manage schedules.
• Maintain store cleanliness, safety, and loss-prevention practices.
• Ensure audits pass with 90%+ and manage budgeting with cost control.
• Provide excellent customer service to shoppers and donors.
