Job summary

Break Time is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead and support daily store operations in Missouri. You will coach a team, manage customer interactions, and assist with financial controls and inventory during shifts in the Store Manager’s absence.

You should have a strong customer service background, the ability to work across all shifts including weekends, and a willingness to train new staff while upholding company policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience leading a team is preferred.
• Basic math for making change and shift reports.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug test.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and engage with customers to foster a friendly store culture.
• Assist in daily store operations, including reporting, banking, inventory, and upkeep.
• Support merchandising, pricing, promotions, and stocking of merchandise.
• Supervise shifts in the manager's absence, train new employees, and enforce policies.
• Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and team members.
• Help manage store finances, prevent losses, and participate in audits.
