The position involves cash handling, deposits, and maintaining financial integrity; responsibilities include managing merchandising, planograms, and daily store operations to maximize profitability and protect assets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• 1 year retail experience and 6 months supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in customer service, cash handling, and loss prevention is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers, and operate cash register and scanner to itemize the customer's purchase.
• Open and close the store a minimum of two days per week.
• Assist Store Manager with scheduling employees, providing training, safety meetings, and policy compliance.
• Manage merchandise flow: receiving, stocking, displays, and planograms.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by controlling damages, markdowns, scanning, and paperwork.
• Assist with planograms and ensure proper product presentation.
• Help ensure financial integrity through cashier accountability and cash control procedures.
• Assist with store coverage in Store Manager's absence.
