Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development in Griffin, GA. You will help with daily activities, merchandise transfers, and open/close procedures while ensuring cleanliness and safety.

Responsibilities include assisting in ordering, payroll and scheduling, loss prevention, and supervising store associates to maintain a positive, efficient environment for customers and staff alike.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure store assets and assist with loss prevention.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates; ensure professional interactions.
• Comply with safety policies and ensure associates follow procedures.
