Job summary

Dollar Tree in Ray City, GA seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, customer service and team development.

You will assist with opening/closing, merchandising, scheduling, loss prevention, and training store associates while maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for customers. This part-time role offers growth opportunities within a nationwide retailer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Assist in organizing and transferring merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays for store fronts.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged items, record keeping, and loss prevention.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom per company standards.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Adhere to safety policies and ensure staff follow procedures.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Ensure cleanliness of store, restrooms, floors, and trash handling.
• Other duties as assigned.
