Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, bending, climbing, and other physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, process damaged merchandise, and handle record-keeping (payroll, scheduling, cash receipts, deposits).
• Keep store areas well-stocked, organized, and secure assets including cash.
• Enforce policies and safety guidelines; ensure staff adherence.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and presentable store environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
