Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in the United States is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development.

You will assist with daily functions, help customers, organize merchandise, and help maintain a well-stocked, clean sales floor and stockroom. You’ll participate in opening and closing procedures and support leadership in training Store Associates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred and necessary to read directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform frequent movements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain store cleanliness and presentation.
