Join to apply for the Retail Store Environment Team Member role at Michaels Stores.

Store - KEENE, NH

Maintain a high standard of overall look and feel of the store, including cleanliness and recovery standards to deliver our Brand Promises. Deliver friendly customer service, assist customers in shopping and finding products.

Responsibilities include:

1. Collecting and disposing of trash following approved procedures.
2. Dusting and damp mopping floors.
3. Moving equipment and products for cleaning and returning products to correct places.
4. Cleaning assigned areas with proper materials and equipment, including mixing water and detergents as needed.
5. Deep cleaning key areas such as bathrooms, breakrooms, entryways, and high traffic zones.
6. Maintaining cleaning equipment and notifying supervisors of supply needs.
7. Proactively seeking areas needing cleaning and completing assigned tasks.
8. Performing all tasks in accordance with federal, state, and county guidelines.
9. Maintaining positive interactions with team members and customers, serving as a role model.

Additional duties may include providing a friendly checkout experience, engaging with Rewards programs, supporting omni-channel processes, participating in stocking and planogram processes, and supporting safety and shrink programs.

Preferred skills include retail and/or cleaning experience. Physical requirements involve standing for long periods, moving throughout the store, bending, lifting, and reaching, sometimes using ladders or similar equipment.

Work environment includes climate-controlled public areas, some outdoor work, and work hours that include nights, weekends, and early mornings. Use of standard cleaning chemicals is required.
