Job summary

Michaels Stores in Otsego, MN is seeking a Store Associate to maintain cleanliness, assist customers, and support store operations. You will handle everyday tasks from stocking and checkout to engaging customers about rewards and Private Label Credit Cards.

The role requires serving customers in a retail environment with attention to safety, basic cash handling, and cooperation with team members. Experience in retail or cleaning is preferred.

Qualifications

• Applicants in the U.S. must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements of the job.
• Michaels requires all team members in this role to be at least sixteen (16) years or older.

Responsibilities

• Maintain store cleanliness and recovery standards to deliver Brand Promises.
• Provide friendly customer service and help customers shop our store and find what they’re looking for.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies to ensure compliance with laws and requirements; maintain safety.
• Perform cash handling to standards and provide a fast, friendly checkout experience.
