Job summary

Dollar Tree in Johnson City, Tennessee is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run store operations, customer service, and team development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environments preferred.
• Must lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays; ensure store standards.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and record-keeping.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom; protect store assets.
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines; supervise and develop store associates.
• Foster a positive, safe, respectful environment with customers and team.
