Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Lenoir City, TN to support daily store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with merchandise organization, open/close duties, and implementing corporate directives while maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming surroundings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Store management experience in retail/grocery or drug store preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical duties.
• Strong communication and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service and organizational skills required.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Assist in organizing and transferring merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays for effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and record keeping.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store and stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to safety policies and ensure associates follow procedures.
• Help Store Manager supervise and develop Store Associates.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and employees.
