Job summary

Goodwill of Central Iowa is seeking Retail Store Associates to welcome customers, process donations, and merchandise goods while delivering friendly service. This part-time role requires flexibility for daytime/evening/weekend shifts and a positive team attitude.

You will operate the cash register, assist customers, and help maintain store appearance and inventory. Prior retail or fast-paced experience is a plus, with training provided to ensure quality customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Excellent service skills for daily customer interactions.
• Prior experience in fast-paced environments is a plus.
• Flexibility to work as part of a team within Goodwill values.
• Effective communication and basic math skills; POS experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet, assist, and engage with customers in a courteous manner.
• Receive donations from the public.
• Sort and organize donations and merchandise on the floor.
• Operate the cash register and balance cash as scheduled.
• Carry out cleaning tasks and move merchandise as needed.
• Meet daily production goals and support store operations.
