Job summary

Burlington is hiring a Full-Time Retail Stocking Team Supervisor for the Back of House/Receiving team. The role leads the back-of-house operations and partners with Store Management to drive efficiency and merchandise flow.

You will oversee receiving, unloading, sorting, and ensuring cleanliness and organization while enforcing asset protection and safety standards. Coaching and workload management are core responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in retail or similar environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and positive attitude for engaging with associates.
• Ability to work full-time including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead merchandise progression: receiving deliveries, unloading/sorting cartons, processing merchandise and flowing goods to the sales floor.
• Ensure back-of-house cleanliness, setup and organization to standard.
• Reinforce Asset Protection strategies to prevent shortages.
• Promote safety for customers and associates by following guidelines.
• Cultivate a diverse culture based on teamwork and collaboration.
• Direct associates and workload; ensure productivity and merchandise protection.
• Coach associates and provide recognition; assist in recruiting, interviewing and onboarding.
• Participate in weekly workload planning meetings; drive community relations initiatives.
• Coordinate meal and break periods and monitor schedule adherence.
