Job summary

Michaels is hiring for a Store Associate at the Trenton/Princeton area location. You’ll deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers locate items, and ensure fast, accurate checkout.

You’ll participate in receiving, stocking, and store recovery to maintain a well-merchandised, in-stock store. Responsibilities include engaging customers with our rewards program, completing enrollments, and supporting omni-channel processes like BOPIS and SFS.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Responsible for merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns and in-stock store upkeep.
