Job summary

Michaels Charlottesville is seeking team members to deliver friendly customer service in a climate-controlled store. You will assist customers, stock merchandise, and participate in truck unloading and checkout duties.

Applicants should be at least 16 years old, with preference for retail or customer service experience. The role includes evenings, weekends, and early mornings, with opportunities for employee discounts and store benefits.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide fast and friendly checkout experience; handle cash accurately
• Enroll customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards
• Educate customers on VOC surveys and drive feedback
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes
• Ensure well-merchandised and in-stock store; manage returns and recover merchandise
• Support shrink and safety programs and adhere to SOPs
