Job summary

Michaels is seeking a team member to deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and maintain a well-merchandised store in Woodbridge, VA. You will handle checkout, enroll customers in rewards, and support omnichannel processes like BOPIS and SFS.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking, and ensuring stock availability while following SOPs. Must be 16 or older and able to work nights, weekends, and early mornings in a public retail environment.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred
• Applicants must be at least 16 years old
• Able to stand for long periods and move around a store

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide fast, friendly checkout with cash handling to standards
• Promote Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll customers
• Educate customers on VOC surveys
• Assist with BOPIS and Ship From Store processes
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram compliance
• Perform merchandise recovery and store recovery duties
• Support in-store safety and shrink programs
• Cross-train in Custom Framing selling and production
