Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Charlottesville, VA is seeking store team members to deliver friendly service, help customers locate products, and ensure a fast checkout experience. You will unload trucks, stock shelves, and participate in in-store processes to keep the store well-merchandised and in stock.

Expect to support customer sequestration through rewards enrollment and participate in omnichannel activities like BOPIS and SFS while maintaining store standards and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods.
• Able to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service and assist shoppers in finding products.
• Complete truck unloading and merchandise duties to keep shelves stocked and store recovery on track.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout and process cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards programs and enrolls when appropriate.
• Assist with omni-channel processes like Buy Online Pickup In Store and Ship From Store.
• Support store operations including planograms, SISO, and AD sets.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; model respectful behavior.
