Job summary

Michaels Stores in Tampa, FL is seeking a store associate to help customers, locate products, and provide a fast, friendly checkout experience. You will assist with unloading, stocking, and maintaining in-stock shelves, while promoting the rewards program and private label credit cards.

Responsibilities include store recovery, POS operations, and adherence to SOPs; weekend and night shifts may be required. Experience in retail or customer service is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the rewards program and credit card enrollments
• Assist with omni-channel processes including BOPIS and Ship From Store
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes
• Maintain store recovery and inventory accuracy to keep shelves in stock
• Support shrink and safety programs and adhere to SOPs and company policies
