Job summary

Sunrun is seeking a Clean Energy District Manager in Ventura, CA to lead a team of Clean Energy Ambassadors across retail locations. You will hire, train, and coach in-store staff, ensuring alignment with sales goals and customer experience standards.

The role requires 2+ years of people management, 3+ years in sales, and strong communication. Travel to stores and weekends/evenings may be required, with a focus on coaching and performance optimization.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years direct people management experience.
• Minimum 3 years in a quota-driven sales position.
• Strong communication skills; ability to coach and develop a team.
• Experience with lead generation and consumer sales.
• Proficient with email, Excel, Word and CRM tools.

Responsibilities

• Source, interview hire and onboard top talent Clean Energy Ambassadors with support from the recruiting team.
• Deliver new hire and ongoing training to team members and provide in-field coaching to increase productivity.
• Drive towards team lead generation and sales goals set by Sales Leaders.
• Daily supervision of performance of Clean Energy Ambassadors.
• Plan and schedule staffing levels at retail locations, and optimize staffing hours and personnel.
• Serve as Sunrun point of contact at each retail location and coordinate in-store events.
• Conduct field audits to ensure compliance in-store (talk tracks, merchandising, safety).
• Track daily, weekly, monthly results and trends; communicate to leadership.
