MERS Missouri Goodwill is seeking a motivated Retail Shift Supervisor for our Manchester store in Missouri. The role focuses on supervising staff, delivering excellent customer service, and supporting daily store operations.

The ideal candidate will have retail management experience, strong leadership, and comfort with scheduling and inventory systems. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential for success in this mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• 1 year of retail management experience or prior Goodwill experience required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Leadership skills including decision-making and motivation.
• Comfortable with registers, scheduling, and inventory software.

Responsabilités

• Supervise, direct, and train staff to perform their functions.
• Provide outstanding customer service to donors and shoppers.
• Coach employees on performance and potential promotions.
• Assign daily duties to meet operational tasks.
• Identify employees for advancement based on performance.
• Protect company property and report any misconduct.
• Enforce agency policies and values.
• Use staffing methods to ensure proper store coverage; arrange replacements.
• Improve processes to reduce waste.
• Maintain professional appearance per dress code.
• Other duties as assigned.
