Job summary

Goodwill of Central Iowa is seeking a Full-Time Shift Leader to support operations and staff training in our donated-goods stores. You will assist with opening/closing, cashiering, pricing donated goods, and keeping the store clean and organized.

Ideal candidates have prior supervisory experience, excellent customer service, strong communication, and flexibility across shifts while upholding Goodwill's values of love, kindness, and respect.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of related paid employment or military service.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to pass background checks and lifting up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Train and supervise store staff across shifts.
• Open/close store operations and cash handling.
• Price donated goods and maintain store appearance.
