Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to lead store team members in delivering outstanding customer service and to support store operations including sales, merchandising, and daily cash handling. The role involves shift management in the absence of supervisors and coordination of orders and returns.

Applicants with strong communication, retail experience, and knowledge of automotive systems are encouraged, with bilingual candidates favored.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge.
• ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom and ensure issue resolution per policy.
• Process all POS transactions, returns, exchanges, and invoicing before product leaves the store.
• Manage store opening/closing duties, end-of-day procedures, deposits, and security checks.
• Coordinate stock, transfers, and special orders; ensure timely communication of shipments.
• Assist with shift management in the absence of Store Manager.
