Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and store operations. This position will also assume shift management responsibilities in the absence of Assistant or Store Manager.

The role focuses on leading store team members, maintaining service levels, processing orders, returns, and invoicing, and ensuring adherence to company policies and schedules.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience in auto parts is preferred.
• Knowledge of automotive systems and repair processes.
• ASE Certification is a plus.
• Fluency in multiple languages, especially Spanish, is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and ensure policy-compliant telephone handling.
• Oversee order processing, transfers, and shipments, contacting customers as needed.
• Handle special orders, returns, and invoicing accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with work schedule, clock-ins/outs, and security procedures.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and assist with end-of-day cash procedures.
