Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts in Forest, VA is hiring a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and cover shift management in their absence. You will lead store team members in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.

This role involves supervising service programs, managing order processing, returns, deposits, and security, while ensuring accurate invoicing and timely communication with customers.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills is required.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification is required.
• Retail sales experience in auto parts is desired.
• ASE Certification is desired.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team to deliver excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Oversee showroom customer service and program execution.
• Answer telephone per company policy.
• Process BOPIS/ship-to-store and transfers; notify customers on arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases per procedure.
• Process returns and issue refunds accurately.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced before leaving the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
• Ensure staff clock in/out and follow schedule.
• Perform opening/closing duties, deposits, and security checks.
