O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The role may assume shift management in the absence of leadership and bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Essential duties include leading a team to deliver exceptional customer service, handling store processes, and ensuring accurate invoicing and communications.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills required.
• Fluency in multiple languages is highly desirable (Spanish preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members to deliver excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and ensure program execution (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot).
• Answer phones in accordance with company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub transfers, and DC add orders; notify customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases per procedure using the outside purchase ledger.
• Process returns and exchanges efficiently; issue refunds using correct payment methods; stage returned items as needed.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced before leaving the store and communicate Zipline messages; assign Image Maker tasks as needed.
• Monitor adherence to work schedules; approve deviations; ensure proper clock-in/out.
• Perform store opening/closing duties, day-end procedures, secure money/deposits, and lock up.
• Other duties as assigned.
