Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old and able to pass background checks.
• Must successfully complete pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
• Must be eligible to work in Nevada cannabis regulations and complete METRC training.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
• Previous customer service, security, or safety experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary reception point for customers, patients, and visitors with professional communication.
• Enforce facility access rules and deny entry when required by policy.
• Assess situations and de-escalate conflicts in a calm, professional manner.
• Respond to alarms, disturbances, injuries, accidents, and security incidents.
• Lead initial response to workplace injuries, provide First Aid/ AED support, and assist with documentation.
• Prepare incident reports, witness statements, and security records for follow-up.
• Coordinate with emergency services or law enforcement as needed.
• Protect company assets from theft, diversion, assault, and other risks.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow security protocols during shifts.

PositionSummary

The Retail Security Supervisor supports retail operations by serving in a dual function role that combines reception and security responsibilities within the licensed retail facility. This position is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, customers, patients, and visitors; assessing and de-escalating situations; responding to workplace injuries and security incidents; and supporting regulatory compliance within retail operations.

• Serve as the primary reception point for customers, patients, and visitors, including greeting individuals, answering phones, and providing authorized information in a professional manner.
• Conductcustomerintakeproceduresbyverifyingagethroughscanningvalididentificationanddirectingcustomersthroughinitialpurchasingsteps.
• Enforcefacilityaccessrules,includingdenyingentryorrequestingindividualsleavethepremiseswhenrequiredbypolicy.
