Responsibilities

• Serve as primary reception for customers, patients, and visitors, including greeting individuals, answering phones, and providing information.
• Verify age and direct customers through initial purchasing steps by scanning valid identification.
• Enforce facility access rules and deny entry when required by policy.
• Assess situations and de-escalate conflicts professionally.
• Respond to alarms, disturbances, injuries, incidents, and emergencies.
• Lead initial response to workplace injuries, including First Aid and AED support; assist with incident documentation and follow-up reporting.
• Initiate, document, and maintain incident reports, witness statements, and security records.
• Coordinate with emergency services or law enforcement when escalation is required.
• Protect company assets from theft, diversion, assault, fire, and other risks.
• Communicate security concerns and incidents during shift transitions for continuity.
• Maintain confidentiality in accordance with privacy and security requirements.
• Apply company security and safety protocols daily.
• Report issues to supervisor staff and assist with investigations and resolutions.

PositionSummary

The Retail Security Supervisor supports retail operations by serving in a dual-function role that combines reception and security responsibilities within the licensed retail facility. This position is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, customers, patients, and visitors; assessing and de-escalating situations; responding to workplace injuries and security incidents; and supporting regulatory compliance within retail operations.

• Serve as the primary reception point for customers, patients, and visitors, including greeting individuals, answering phones, and providing authorized information in a professional manner.
