Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Alarm Monitoring in Columbus, OH. You will provide customer service, patrol the retail location, monitor access points, and respond to incidents while upholding our values of agility, reliability, innovation, caring, and integrity.

This driving position requires a valid drivers license, 18+ years of age, and background/drug checks as part of employment. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/locality.
• Driver s license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store associates while following site procedures and emergency response activities.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and merchandise areas for unusual activity and report observations.
• Respond to incidents calmly and contact appropriate personnel or emergency services.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location.
• Document incidents and patrol activity and communicate to store management and Allied Universal leadership.
