Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a valid driver’s license and customer service experience.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen are required by Allied Universal policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, escalating as needed per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, policy violations, and hazards and document observations.
• Assist with access control and directions while maintaining professional presence in a fast-paced retail environment.
