Job summary

Michaels in Richmond, VA is seeking store team members to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers find products, and ensure a fast checkout experience. You will participate in unloading trucks, stocking, and maintaining a well-merchandised store.

Candidates should have retail or customer service experience and be able to stand for long periods, lift items, and work nights, weekends, or early mornings. The role also involves supporting omnichannel services and upholding SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast, friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards enrollments.
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS and Ship From Store).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram duties.
• Maintain in-stock store and merchandise recovery; complete returns/go back as needed.
• Support shrink and safety programs; follow SOPs and company policies.
• Interact positively with customers and team members; be a role model for company values.
