Job summary

ScanScape is hiring part-time Retail Scan Associates to visit local stores each week to scan product barcodes on displays and aisles. The role involves in-store data collection, 52 weeks a year, with flexibility in scheduling and continuous physical activity.

The base pay is $16 per hour, with paid travel at your hourly rate (less first and last 15 minutes) and eligibility for 401(k) with employer matching. Training will be provided, and schedules are reviewed during the interview.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods while accessing products.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi‑Fi.
• Must have tech savviness.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Scan barcodes in stores using a mobile app.
• Provide quantity for about 45% of scanned products.
• Perform in-store data collections at assigned retailers weekly.
• Complete Display Scanning across the entire store weekly.
• Handle occasional Custom Projects adding 30 minutes to 2 hours.
