ScanScape is seeking part‑time Retail Scan Associates to visit local stores weekly, scanning barcodes on displays and in-aisle locations to improve product visibility and sales data. The role offers independence, flexible hours, and steady weekly work across all assigned stores.

You will use a mobile app to scan products, sometimes sampling about 45% of items and completing tasks within fixed deadlines. Travel is paid at the hourly rate, with a schedule that varies by store and workload.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet, and bend/stretch/stoop.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be deadline-driven and have reliable Wi‑Fi and tech skills.

Responsibilities

• Visit designated stores weekly to scan barcodes on displays and in aisle locations.
• Use a mobile app to perform barcode scans across store areas.
• Provide quantity sampling for about 45% of scanned products.
• Complete in-store data collection for 52 weeks a year, including holidays.
• Meet weekly deadlines and support clients with timely data delivery.
