Sun Tan City in Mount Juliet, TN, is seeking an Assistant Salon Director to lead a high-energy team and deliver exceptional client service. You will supervise Tanning Consultants, drive store performance, and uphold operational excellence to meet sales goals.

The role requires strong leadership, coaching, and the ability to manage in a fast-paced environment. College education preferred; sales and management experience welcome. Benefits include health insurance, PTO, and casual dress code.

Qualifications

• College education preferred, but not required.
• Management and/or Sales experience preferred, but not required.
• Basic Computer skills (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Ability to manage effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership with coaching and mentoring ability.
• Team building and delegation skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily salon operations in a fast-paced environment.
• Lead by example to create a client-centric experience and meet sales expectations.
• Maintain a professional and clean salon environment.
• Establish clear goals for Team Members.
• Provide coaching, training, and feedback to improve performance.
• Generate sales reports, maintain inventory, and assist with Salon Director functions.
• Assist the Salon Director in controlling revenue and expenses.
• Maintain staffing levels to maximize productivity and service while controlling costs.
• Work nights and weekends as required to provide management coverage.
• Five days per week, approximately 40–45 hours.
